Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Yes, This is a 501c3 IRS approved nonprofit organization & state charity registered. Donations are tax deductible.
Q: Is my postage deductible for mail in donations?
A: Be sure to keep your receipt(s) to report on your tax return.
Q: How do I know what my donation is worth?
A: To figure how much you may deduct for property that you contribute, you must first determine its fair market value on the date of the contribution.
Most (not all) gently used/good condition books are estimated at $2.00-$8.00 at FMV.
-If you purchased (new or used) books to donate, keep your receipts for your records.

Q: Can I decide what book I want my donation to purchase?
A: Our availability of books/ authors vary; however, you may donate a reputable Christian author/ book of your choice.

A: Go to the Donation page for information.
For credit/ debit donation you can DONATE HERE or any page with the "Donate Here" link.

Q: Can I request an author/book of my choice for my participation package?
A: No, We are a nonprofit organization that gives out free Christian literature, our Inventory and author availability varies.
However, we have many great authors and we are confident you will enjoy any you receive.
You may donate a reputable Christian author/ book of your choice. All Donations are appreciated!
*If you are looking for a particular author or book we suggest going to your local library or purchasing one from a bookstore.
Q: Can I request a book for myself or for someone else with or without donation?
A: Yes!
Click on the Order Free Blessing Package tab and fill out a form or click one the "request your blessing package here" link on the Why & How page.
Please keep in mind we are not a bookstore. *If you are able to donate, we appreciate it!
Q: What if I want a package to personally give?
A: Just fill out a blessing package request form and it will be delivered to the address provided.
Most packages will include a pay it forward bag.
Q: How do I get a book or card? Is there a list to sign onto?
A: If you are interested in participating please visit the Free Blessing Package page or contact us at sowinandgrowin@gmail.com.
Q: If I request a package, how long before receiving my material?
A: Delivery time may vary upon supply and demand.
*We are a 501c3 nonprofit therefore, if you are able to donate please do so.
Q: What material will I receive in a Blessing package?
A: Most packages will include a book with an informational card, a bible with a prayer card, a pay it forward bag and a
minimum of 1 kindness card.
Q: If I donate can I get a refund?
A: All Donations are non-refundable. You are not purchasing a product but you are supporting a cause/Public Charity.
Q: What if I don't like my Blessing Package material?
A: If you are not happy with the materials provided we ask that you simply gift it to someone else.
Q: Why did I receive a blessing package if I never requested one?
A: If you received a package or any material and did not request it; someone either gave you the material (as the pay it forward concept is designed) or you were requested by someone else.

Q: Can I find out who requested me to receive a package?
A: No. We do not have that information.
Q: Can I donate new or gently used/good condition bibles?
A: Yes, please!
Q: Can I get a bible/prayer card with or without donation?
A: Yes. Fill out the request bible form and we will send one out as soon as possible.

Q: How much does my donation need to be?
A: Mail-in or drop-off donations may be of any amount.
-Online donations (secured by Square) are $1.00- $5,000 per transaction.

Q: How do I know what my donation will go to?
A: 100% of all donations go into the operations of Sowin' and Growin', including purchasing of materials and distribution.
We appreciate every donation big or small, new or used!
Q: Can I donate a Christian book/author of my choice?
A: Yes, There are so many great Christian authors please share your recommendations!
Q: Is there a Christian denomination preference for authors/books?
A: We do not promote any denomination. We prefer reputable authors/teachers/books based off of biblical scripture, Christian principles and teachings.
Q: What authors are preferred?
A: There are so many wonderful authors, just to name a few: Rick Warren, Kyle Idleman, Charles Stanley, Lee Strobel, Joyce Meyers, C.S. Lewis, Max Lucado, Frances Chan, Kendrick, Louie Giglio, Robert Morris and many more.
Q: Can I request kindness cards?
A: Although we should not need cards to instruct us to do acts of kindness, they are nice reminders and great motivators.

Q: I live out of the United States can I request material?
A: We currently only mail within the 50 states of the United States of America.
